PDF Merger – Free Online Tool
Quick answer: Merge multiple PDF files into one document, privately in your browser.
About this tool
Select two or more PDFs and combine them into a single file in the order you chose. Files are processed locally and never uploaded to a server.
How to use the PDF Merger
- Enter your text, choose your file or set the options in the tool above.
- Click the action button for the result you want.
- Copy or download the output. Nothing leaves your device.
When should you merge PDF files?
Merging is useful whenever several documents need to travel together: a CV with certificates, scanned pages of one assignment, monthly invoices for an accountant, or application forms that must be uploaded as a single file. One file is easier to email, print and archive than five loose ones.
Tips for a clean merged PDF
- Name files in order. Files are merged in the order you selected them, so names like 01-cover.pdf and 02-form.pdf keep things tidy.
- Fix orientation first. If a scanned page is sideways, correct it with the PDF Rotator before merging.
- Keep the size small. If your scans are photos, shrink them with the Image Compressor and rebuild the PDF using Images to PDF.
- Remove passwords. Protected PDFs cannot be merged until the password is removed in your PDF reader.
Is it safe to merge PDFs online?
Here the merging happens inside your browser. Your files are not uploaded to our server, which matters for contracts, ID copies and bank statements. Still, always check the final file before sending it.
Common problems
If you see an error, the file is usually encrypted or damaged; open it in a PDF reader and save a fresh copy. Very large files can be slow on older phones because your device does all the work, so merge in smaller batches. If you need only some pages from a document, extract them first with the PDF Splitter.
