Step by step
- Open the QR Code Generator.
- Type or paste the text you want to share.
- Choose a size and press Generate.
- Press Download PNG and use the image on your poster, card or screen.
What to type
- Website: the full link starting with https://.
- WhatsApp chat: https://wa.me/ followed by the number in international format with digits only, for example https://wa.me/923001234567.
- Ready-made WhatsApp message: add ?text= and your message, with spaces and symbols encoded using the URL Encoder.
- Wi-Fi: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:Password;; (put a backslash before ; , : and quotes inside the name or password).
- Phone call: tel: followed by the number, such as tel:+923001234567.
Make it scan every time
- Dark pattern on a light background, with a clear white border around it.
- Print it at least 2 cm by 2 cm, and larger for posters.
- Shorter text gives a simpler, easier code.
- Test it with two different phones before printing.
Good to know
These codes are static. They do not expire, but they cannot be edited or tracked, so if the link changes you must print a new one. Only scan codes you trust, because a fake sticker can lead to a harmful page.
